Long story short, there is a specific instagram user that I want my IG profile to be suggested to under the "People You May Know" or "Suggested" pop up. I don't want to get into the details of it, I just need my profile to be recommended to them at some point.
I know this person IRL. I understand how the Suggestions work. But so far, I can't get even get them to show up in my 'Suggested' list, so I doubt I've shown up in theirs.
In the past 2 weeks I have:
- Synced my contacts with their phone number included
- Received a phone call from them
- Sent an email mentioning this person (IG reads emails, right?)
- Searched their name in IG multiple times and clicked on their profile
- Followed about 10 of the same accounts they follow (their profile is private so it's like shooting blind here)
- Liked photos they liked, tried to interact with the above 10 profiles mentioned
- Shared a wifi connection and been in close proximity to this person's phone
- Used to Whatsapp with this person pretty heavily
IG will literally recommend the most OBSCURE people to me who are so far distant in my past and so far removed from my life, yet I can't get this person to show up on my/me in their suggestions? I almost feel like Zuckerberg knows I want to be suggested to them and is fucking with me.
Do I just have to wait? Account was created 1.5 weeks ago. What are some other things I can do to force my account to show up on their suggested list?
