it's okay to create links on domain or is it better to create links to inner page?

Both are equally very important.

However, i suggest you focus on the home page heavily and make it an authority site. That way you only require minimal work to rank the pages. Why do you think that BHW and other top sites rank everywhere with their pages.

Great question!

The quick answer for this is, it depends. The main goal of backlinking is to improve page rank however you should also think about the overall goal of your website. Is it to sell something? Is it to offer engaging content? Is it to get people to perform some action? The location of the backlink, the context within which it is placed in correlation to the content of the page it links to along with the object that is attached to the link (i.e. text, images, video or something else) all play a role in which page you should be linking to.

Many backlinks that your site acquires without your effort may already be set up in this fashion. For instance if some other website just wants to provide a general link to your website, they may just use the home page. In contrast, if a website is mentioning specific content on one of your pages, they may link to that specific page where the content can be found.

If you are building a backlink yourself, whether or not you use the home page is less important as what the visitor that clicked on the link expects to find when they get there. So, if you provide a link from a Facebook landing page titled "for more information about our widgets, click here" and the user lands on a page that has nothing to do with widgets, they could potentially just leave. In the broader scheme of things you are ranking well but users are not converting if your backlinks don't connect with relevant content.

Here is some more information on where backlinks should direct

I hope this helps you,

If the content on your site is engaging readers will automatically link to the individual pages. Or, you can structure the site in such a way that every article somehow backlinks to the homepage. That way the authority of the homepage will increase over a period of time.

For the links that you create on your own, u can create about 70% to the home page and 30% to the quality inner pages. It looks natural.

Homepage FTW - inner pages - use 30% of your backlinks on them. But ranking home page with all your desired keywords is still very doable and so much easier profit wise.

Send your best links to your root domain. This link juice will spread out to all of your inner pages. If you are trying to specifically rank an inner page, focus on that once you have well-optimized your root.
