Hey guys,
I have a problem with one of my official pages on facebook. The problem is, that there is a second official facebook page (I don't want to mention the name of the sites or the topic)
and I was so kind to take the admins of the smaller facebook page (they don't have even the half of my likes) in my official facebook page BUT only if we work together and when they will delete their page.
Today I got a message from one of them which is in his opinion an "experienced" event-manager, it consultor etc. and he wants to stay with the two official facebook pages.. I was just WTF?
He wants to post on my facebook page (again, I have over twice as much of likes) only videos, pictures etc. of the artist. The fans could send messages to the admins, ask questions etc. BUT NO TOURDATES OR RECORD RELEASES AND OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS would be posted on my facebook page.
For the important stuff, they would like to use their small facebook page because people of the press don't want to be spamed with pics and videos <- In my opinion a stupid argument.
I think this is the most stupid idea that I ever heard. And he is an IT consultor? What a joke, he updated his website in 1997? lol
He wants only to get my likes because the people would like to know the tourdates, releases etc.

That are official fan pages of an artist. The most stupid idea had the management. We speak the same language and post the same stuff but they gave the official status the smaller page, too.
You need to know that I do this all for free because it's a great experience and reference. I lead a website for them, too. That referenece helped me already to open some awesome doors in my life ;)

I got from a new friend an advice, who is a Social Media Manager and Webdesigner for huge projects, that they are really stupid and they don't know anything about the Facebook algorithm.
They only want to "kick" me out. He says that everything official has just one information channel (why there are two?) and they can't take informations for yourself.

I would like to talk with him about this again but he is since today not in the country for some days.

So I need a second opinion :)
Because this is my first Social Media work (I only work with niches etc.) This is something new for me.
What would you do? I think I will kick them out and explain this stupid idea of them to the management.

Hi, if you still need help then let me know. I can offer my consulting help via Skype.

I would keep with what you're doing right now and do not join them. You said you've got way more likes than them, just overpower them with good content and growth and you'll do just fine.
