Ever since I was a kid I always felt like a loser. Almost 5 years ago I told myself enough is enough, I need to change my life. I decided to do IM and decided that I'll do what it takes to succeed. I burned my boats (dropped outta college) and I promised myself to never look back. I got into IM not knowing what I was getting myself into. IM turned out to be harder than I thought. I thought I was gonna make my first 1k within 3 months (as advertised by gurus) but I never made a penny, of course I got stressed but I kept reminding myself to never look back, I promised myself to fight until I win. As I said I thought I was gonna make my first 1k within 3 months but I finally got my first pay after 3 years and it wasn't 1k as I had expected, it was $20. Although it wasn't a lot, I was happy bcoz it proved to me that making money on the internet is doable.
Last year I started an ecommerce websites with 2 partners. The store successfully got sales but we never made a huge amount of profit. My second pay came from the ecommerce website and it was around $2600. My parents were thrilled and finally believed that I was doing a legitimate thing. I was not that happy bcoz as soon as we split profits the product died. We tried to test new products on the store but we only made profit during the first week of product testing then after that the ka-chings were replaced by crickets. We noticed the same trend repeating itself, we would test a product and make profit for a week or sometimes we'd make profit for a couple of days only then after that nothing.
The same thing kept happening until me and my partners split. We split this year around February. I tried starting my own store but I lost all my money bcoz of the pandemic and there are other bad things that led me to lose money.
Right now I feel lost and I feel stressed. I feel like I lost motivation to keep going and I feel like I don't have a direction anymore. I still do believe in my goal but at the same time I feel lost, I feel beaten and it feels like all odds are against me.
If you were ever in the same situation or if you have some advice, please do advice. I couldn't ask anyone else for advice bcoz no one can better understand my situation than you guys, besides I'm always lonely so there's no one to ask.
I also need advice on FB's inconsistencies. How did you guys manage to solve FB's inconsistencies? Do you guys think it's a good idea to switch to Google ads? Are Google ads as inconsistent as FB ads?
