Hey all.

I'm trying to decide which keyword to use as my main KW for an article on my website.

A - 2,772 monthly searches

B - 2,268 monthly searches

Which would you guys go for? A or B? I also may split my article into two section and go for both.

Cheers for your help.

Keyword 1 is easiest. If they are related, target KW1 and LSI kW2. on the same page.

Or make two pages.

Thanks man. That's what I was thinking too. But I decided to just split the post into two posts. It was actually an 800+ word article so I'm sure my readers would love less reading ha ha.

Very nice, i think you can get to the #1 spot in no time for both kws.
Good luck

You can go for both though keyword 1 is easy as techxan said..

Good to include research on current trending topics too. Then whatever keyword you find will probably get more searches.

Put 500 words on the first page, and daisy chain it to the second part. Evry time some one goes from page one of the article to page two, they will not count as a bounce. It will bring down your bounce rate and help you rank.

That's really good advice. Thanks a lot mate.

That's Market Samurai. You could get a free trial by searching the forum. :)

Thanks for answering mate.

Yeah I mainly use Market Samurai. It's never let me down yet. And although I haven't used Long Tail Pro much, I've also heard it's good.

I'd go for both if they were related. 2nd one looks easier to me thought, but it might not necessarily be better.
which software you using to do keyword research ??
Its Market Samurai

Do you really have to choose one? If so, then A.

Yeah see for on-page SEO, in my experience, it's a good idea to use only 1 KW. Title, URL, (you can put more than 1 in the description and header though).

Yeah, but I'm not talking about targetting it on the same page ;) (Or even the same site....)

Why almost everyone of you decided that kw A is better?
What do you consider to be the most important thing when you look at those 2 pictures? What about the 2nd most important thing...
I'm a newbie when it comes to keyword research and I would like to know your opinions on these keywords. :)

I first look for backlinks. Then I look for on page SEO. Then I look for Page Rank... Then I ask BHW ha ha. No, I'm not that much of a noob... Then if everything lined up I would go for it. But I know that all the other factors go into it too. In my experience though, these are the most important things. For instance, all I did was on page SEO and I was ranked on page 2 the next day for KW A. And I'm not doing the Google dance... Yet.

Well done and thanks for the answer.
Anyone else? I'm just trying to get as many opinions as I can.
