I need advice on how to invest $2000

I want to start a type of maybe promotions company? i live at the beach so i could make shirts, stickers, and just make my company known i don't even care if i start making money from this immediately i have a "day job".

If you had 2000 USD to invest what would you do with it?

Need some fresh ideas......

If you don't have funds to pay for internet how the heck would you get $2000.
if its Family money then its a different case

Honestly..I would take that 2k and buy some stocks. I know that isn't going to make you the quick amount of money many of us here want..but there are some really good stocks out there right now at great prices..and I myself have been purchasing them and haven't regretted it. The easiest rule to remember with stocks is try to buy the stocks of a company whose product you actually use..and whose stock you can afford. It's always nice to have some stocks in your financial portfolio..and your probably going to get more money to buy tshirts or do your other thing in the future..so why not diversify financially? If you need any more help with this just let me know.
