Hi everyone! I just learned about SEO, and now I'm an SEO intern for a small company. I have a kind of stupid question: is there any way for a small company to compete with a large brand? The top search in Google is a large brand, and they have a lot of traffic every month. My company doesn't have much budget for SEO; I just want to make my website get in the top 10 and keep positions in that result. But with a low budget, my website just goes up and down on page 2 of Google search. Is there any chance for my website to get into the page 1 Google search results?
Sorry my english isnt that good, but I really hope to get advice what should I need to do. Thanks all!!!

Small site can beat a big brand by ignoring their main keywords and targeting specific long-tail "problem" queries their content misses, then creating a superior, detailed guide that directly solves that user's issue, earning you loyal links and traffic they overlook.

Yes, a small company can reach page 1, but only by targeting narrow, high intent keywords big brands ignore trying to beat them on broad terms is a guaranteed loss.

Don’t worry, your English is fine! My advice is to focus on niche topics your competitors aren’t targeting. Instead of competing head-on with big brands, target long-tail keywords and create high-quality, helpful content that answers specific questions your audience has. Also, work on on-page SEO and building a few relevant backlinks. Consistency and patience are key, small websites can rank on page 1 if they offer value that big brands sometimes overlook.

buy a site that already has authority and ranks well.
the post content to that. this is the best method to bypass all problems.
there are places where you can buy authority sites from.

Yes, a small company can rank on page 1 but not by competing directly with big brands on broad keywords. Focus on long-tail low-competition keywords and match search intent better than competitors. With high-quality content smart internal linking and a few relevant backlinks moving from page 2 to page 1 is absolutely possible even on a low budget.

If you truly put in the effort, work hard, and have solid SEO knowledge, you can get your company’s website into the top 10 positions. With a limited budget, it simply requires even more dedication.

It is possible but it will be a long process and will take few years. Do you have the patience for this ?

Yes, it’s definitely possible, even with a small budget. Focus on long-tail keywords, local searches, and very helpful content. Improve on page SEO, internal links, and user experience. Big brands are slow; small sites can win by being more specific and useful.

Yes, there is a chance small sites can win by being more useful, not bigger.
Focus on creating pages that answer them better than anyone else like with clear structure, real examples, FAQs because big brands usually ignore those smaller intent gaps.

Yes, small companies can rank on page 1, even against big brands. You just can’t compete on big, high-volume keywords. Focus on long-tail, low-competition keywords, match search intent, optimize on-page SEO, and build a few quality backlinks. If you’re already on page 2, you’re close improving content and links can push you into the top 10.

Yes, build a better structure than theirs, make it easier for the machine/search to buy your information (low cost, high trust).

First thing you are newbie does not mean that you will always remain like that. If you just apply the information shared on BHW for SEO, you will do quite good.

You want to rank your seo agency site? That is not an easy work. I mean even if you rank it for some keywords, maintaining the rank is even more harder. You should look for other ways to get clients.

Yes, it’s possible. If you target long-tail keywords, create helpful content and stay consistent, you can rank on Page 1 even on a low budget.

it’s possible, but you usually can’t fight big brands head-on. Focus on long-tail keywords, local or niche angles, and creating content that answers very specific user intent better than anyone else. With consistency and smart targeting, small sites can still reach page 1 even on a limited budget

by targeting long tail keywords, niche intent, strong content, and solid on/off page SEO, small sites can compete and reach page 1 even against big brands.

Definitely possible. Big brands win on authority, but small sites can compete with niche keywords and better intent matching.

Yes, it’s possible. Focus on long-tail keywords, niche topics, and high-quality content. Strong on-page SEO and internal linking help small sites outperform big brands where intent is specific.
