I need a web designer (Wordpress & Logos ) for many projects but I have questions

I own a web design & e-marketing company which gets about 10 web design request per week, but am short-hand and need someone willing to work per project or get paid by project.

How does this work?

1-should I post the job on freelancer.dotcom?
2-How do you pay the designer? upfront or when the job is completed?
3- what would be an stimate for a wordpress template design, just the front page no content necessary?


4- what is the downside of working with a VA?

Anything I should know before hiring a freelancer, Please help I need it ASAP.

Freelancer wont be a good choice i think. Here you can find out some very good designers, developers who are actually having strong credentials.
Its better to look 1st at his rep and then decide , if he is new you can ask him to show his work and then you can pay . But make him believe that you are a true person at heart and have no false intentions. If you find him to be reputed you can give some money at start and then rest after completion.
Now coming to the part about wordpress design, it actually varies with your requirement, but at rough estimate, it would be around $50-$100.
The downside of working with a va is not getting satisfactory result, but anybody who want to stay long term, is bound to satisfy you.
