For real SMS (not VOIP), you might want to try services like Google Voice or Twilio. They let you send and receive texts with real phone numbers. Hope that helps!

I’ve had to deal with this before too, and the best luck I’ve had was with Textverified — their numbers are non-VoIP and usually work fine for most verifications. I’ve also seen people mention Non-Voip.com as a solid option, but I haven’t used them personally. It might cost a bit more than VoIP, but way fewer headaches down the line

I’d look into prepaid SIMs like Tello or Mint Mobile. They’re pretty cheap — around $5–10 a month — and you can just rotate them weekly. More reliable than using a service every time, and you get full control over sending/receiving messages. Might take a bit more setup at first, but saves money in the long run.

Yeah, most free/cheap apps are VOIP - they work fine for signup verifications but not for 2-way texting. if you need real send/receive SMS, your best bet is getting a prepaid SIM from something like Tello, US Mobile, or Mint Mobile. those give you real mobile numbers, not VOIP.

as i known ,in market now have 2 way USA route working ,it can reply sms if u got sms

Hi, did you get sms activated on your first month? There's a mention in their websites stating that one need to have number for 3 months before activating sms, it's confusing. I'm looking to use it for Stripe as well
