As above, do you know if there is a tool to know ho many article a site has published?
I need the number...

Very hard to accurately determine the number of actual published articles but you can get a close estimate by checking the number of indexed pages in google.
Use site:website.com

To get a more accurate number of total pages a website has, you will need a crawler. For a small website screaming frog will do the job.

Or look at ID parameter if it is public on some sites. Also you can check for sitemap.xml

You can check for top pages at Ahrefs service if site is big.

Just check the site map of the website.

You can just check the number of pages indexed by google, not exactly only articles.
