Google Trends no longer shows top 100 trends...only top 20. That may be why this guy's site is not working anymore.
As for creating a script. What exactly are you looking for? Do you just want a script that will grab that day's top 20 trends for you? In what format do you want this list? PM me the details and we can take it from there.

Google still has the 100 trends list, just that it displays 20 only for some time. That site got banned and i`m sure that's why he doesn't display them anymore.
I need someone that knows "the trick", using a google api or something. And i need all 100, i can get 20 myself.

How do u know there is still a top 100 list? Of course google always has all the trends in its database but are all 100 still available to public? If you are certain then where have you seen the list pulled out either via api or otherwise?

I'd be interested in an answer to that question as well. I'm not sure G is making all 100 available to the general public any longer

The 100th list still exists and of course the list is not available in the trends page, else why would i create this thread?
I can get some of the words but i need the full list.
Right now searching for "taylor mays" for example shows "72nd most popular search in the past hour." or "jason worilds" - 25th most popular search in the past hour." etc.
Since that guy can pull all 100 trends, surely there's a way. I saw him asking on google groups why hes site got banned, is obviously why .. and thats why he probably doesn't display them anymore ... tried to contact him by his whois email but didn't get a reply.
Anyways i`m still looking to buy this script if someone can create it.

Hmm..another alternative can be scrap feeds hourly (as they change hourly) and store them in a mysql data base..in this way..you can extract a lot of results per day..even if 20 are available..let me know if interested.

for my development im scraping from the rss feed every hour the top 20 trends im going to aim to save it to a mysql database, how can this be done in vb.net?
