In need of someone who can setup my old desktop as a proxy server so i can use the ip addresses on there by proxy and port. From what i read and researched it seems like a squid proxy server is what im asking for .
You will always be limited to one ip at a time. Plus if you continually force new ips even though you are assigned one static ip you will soon get post from your ISP
Cheers
Have you looked into SSH? You could use something Putty for Windows, or there's tons of options for Linux. You could technically even use Fiddler to accomplish this. It basically turns the machine into a proxy to sniff the packets, but you could just input 192.168.1.*:8888 as your proxy and it would then use the machine that Fiddler is listening on. You can turn off the capture since you won't need it really for what you're trying to do. I'd check Putty first though, I think it'll be the best option for what you're trying to do.
