I need a lot of help

I've got this idea, but I have absolutely no coding knowledge, none, zip, and this idea needs to be coded by someone who knows exactly what they are doing. So I've come to terms with the fact that I need to hire a coder to bring my idea to life, but I intend to make a business out of this idea, as it will surely be profitable, and I'm sure that the coder will realize this as well.

My question is, how do I safely hire a coder to create this? How do I hire a professional coder without the risk of them running off with my idea?

I'm not sure if I can patent an idea, and I'd like to go off something more than reputation when handing over the plans for something that has a lot of potential :spy:
