I want to use it with an email validation software. All it does is connect to the mail server to see if the mailbox exists. This is not blackhat or illegal. There are online services that do this but they are expensive.

I am willing to pay for the service. Nothing shady or greyhat, I want a very reputable company. What are the top proxy companies?

    Thanks!

Any more suggestions for legit proxy companies that will allow port 25 open? Not looking to send any mail, but I need port 25.

I checked the ones at the link above and even opened accounts and requested port 25 but they said no.

    Thanks!

Most proxies block port 25 because it's used to send mails/spam. You mailbox can be accessed via POP3 or IMAP protocols which doesn't use port 25. I don't think you need to have port 25 opened to receive/retrieve mails.

I am not looking to send or receive mail. I need port 25 to connect to remote mail servers and verify whether mail accounts exist. It's a program call atomic mail verifier.

the public ones are live a limited period of time.

Yyou can use private shared proxies and you can ask the provider to open port 25 on the proxies ...
