I need a Keyword Rank Analysis Tool

I used to use this free online tool that would scan the first page of google for the keyword you specified and it would tell you the amount of backlinks, PR, and other info for each website on the first page. It would give you a sense of how likely it was to either beat the competition for page one, or if it was too tough to compete against. The website hosting this tool no longer exists and I haven't been in the SEO game until early last year because of school and other things, but I want to make a come back and would appreciate if anyone has a similar tool that they use. I'm looking moreso for a free version, but I might consider investing in a paid one if it looks promising.
