So finally, after a few hours of redesigning, moving widgets, changing a layout etc. etc., I have finally managed to do something decent on my website. For me, it looks quite good - not perfect, but good. I am quite tired and sleepy since it's 4 am here, so I'm out of ideas.

If you have some free time, please provide a feedback about my website. Open a few posts, check out the layout etc. I want to know what you think about the design and about its functionality. I think the site is quite easy to navigate and looks nice, but that's only my opinion.

The site is Looking Great.. But the thumbnail images are looking small and also the Font need to be little bit Bold and Use complete Black color rather than Grey color. Its just my opinion.
Any way Great Luck Buddy with your site

I like your site. It is attractive and for the most part is well laid out. I didn't go too deeply into it and I just have some feedback for your home page. The first thing is your logo. It looks "ok" in the center however a common convention is to have it in the left hand corner. It just makes the page more balanced.

Another thing is that I have no idea what your website is for. The logo suggests that it is a news site however its not completely clear. I would add some text or a tagline or something that lets uers know what they can do on your site or what the general theme is. If your site is about sports news, a simple tagline may do the trick. Something like "The latest sports news and information" or whatever.

Lastly, you have your entire banner and main navigation menu taking up all the space above the fold. You may want to try and find a way to move more content up above the fold. Not only does that help for SEO but it will give you more real estate to place content people will find valuable. Try making the banner thinner like maybe three quarters or even half the height that it is now.

Man I think it looks great. I'm really jealous. Good job!

The only negatize I have is the top where it says "The League News". It just looks weird. Not sure why. Love the rest.
 
Looks good, as mentioned above move logo to left corner add a tagline and change the menu hover color to something with more contrast. If you could get rid of the word category in front of the division it would look cleaner (Category Central Division) just say Central Division. All in all not bad 'm a big Bball fan so i will keep a eye on it.

I'm just not sure what you mean by this category thing? Could you please explain? Thanks again! :)
 
Sure on your menu you have the divisions listed, when you click lets say Central Division it takes you to the Central Division page, then right under your page wide photo it says Category Central Division. It would look cleaner without the word Category, your reader is not looking for categories per se but just the Central Division as it is listed in your horiz menu. I believe that area should be clean looking since you have more or less a headline below.

Cool, I like the site, good luck with it. I'd be surprised if Rose decides to play in the playoffs, mentally he's not there yet, physically yes mentally no.

And yeah...that's kinda weird. He's been cleared to play for over 2 months but he's still not mentally ready. I hoped he'll be back before the series with the Heat, so we can play against then with them at the full strength...but damn injuries.
 
Yeah my Bulls have been hurting, but they do not quit. If Rose did get over his mental handicap, it sure would psych up the whole team and who knows what could happen. Sure would make good headlines for your site.

I think you have a great start to this site already! I would agree with others that header text logo need some adjusting. Why not just completely delete it.

This could be a very nice site, and I was wondering how much are you paying your writers?

I'm not paying them, that's the best part! We are all doing it as a hobby. However, once I start making money, I'll share it with them. Without them, the website can't have much success.
 
Alright, I did a few changes :

Change font color to black,
Aligned the banner to the left,
Cut some margins on the frontpage slideshow,
Cut margins of the main area and sidebars.

Going to work more on it.
Still looking for feedbacks! :)

Might be just me(im running Firefox on a big screen) but your pages are getting cropped on both sides

Maybe resize your pages or dont select full page layout for your posts

I like the look of the site..nice and clean and the way you have laid out the divisions per category on a drop down menu is a good authority site way of doing things...(might be why you have DA of 32)

I might be wrong but the NBA are pretty litigious so be sure you are not infringing copyright with your favicon.

No, it wasn't just you. I messed up CSS but it's back to the normal state now. And yeah, I will change the favicon.
By the way, what is DA?

DA= Domain Authority. Its an seomoz metric. Your root domain has a DA of 32 which is pretty strong for a new site.
