Hey BHW Members,

[FONT=&quot]I want to make an e-commerce site, items: make up,cosmetics.

I plan to use Wordpress (is it good?),but I cannot find a template/theme inArabic (plan to add other languages later on) with the Shopping cart and multi payment option( paypal,visa,...),plan also to add free toll.

Do u have an idea of where I can get that, is there any WP plugins?
Do u advice smthg else i.e. Joomla platform ...

I don't know much about wp, but I use oscommerce. It has almost anything you would ever need.

You can try tomatocart , its free and have the functions you want .

TomatoCart looks good and all, but carries a large load on your server, i love the layout and all, but it seems to be unstable at times when you have a few people on. load times are long. it depends on your server and how many domains are hosting versus how much traffic you have going to that server, the backend looks good as well, but can be difficult to get used to.

Agree with Cyrus about Tomato, it has no many options there.
There many free and good e-commerce scripts. And for Joomla, VirtueMart is the best option.

I'm not a web designer myself, but I've been around the block and I've set up a couple of web shops. PM if you need some advice (free of charge). I can point you to the right direction.

I also prefer oscommerce and interspire shopping cart. Tomata has given me high loads previsouly as mentioned above as well.

The arabic might be a problem, but you should check out ShopperPress. It's pretty easy to use and looks a heck of a lot better than oscommerce does. And it's only $79 for unlimited installations.

Man if you are looking for a free and serious SEO friendly ecommerce go with Magento , its backoffice is the most advance I ever seen, you can get free themes or buy some. I suggest you to read about it and check it out before going with any other ecommerce
