This is for my number one repeat client. I need an e-commerce solution for her business. Really want to hear from guys who have personally used the service they are recommending. And how is their customer service? Thanks in advance.

Hi guys. One thing I didn't make clear is I'm not interested in building the site myself and neither is my client. The client is a friend so I'll know her for a long time and can do simple maintenance but I need one of BHW's experts to build the e-commerce solution for her.

Thanks for all of your feedback and ideas.

If you want, I can build an ecommerce website based on the requirement. Hit me up a PM. I can tell you all the ins and outs so that you can have a clear talk about the project with your client.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

If your a little programming savvy Zen cart is really easy to set up and configure for a client. Its free and there are many different extensions available. I'm Currently running it on an e-commerce site with over 38,000 products with no issues

Magento is one of the most flexible, and it's open source. Also has great plugins and a rather large community of developers available for projects.

I also use Magento on several projects. It is extremely flexible and has more SEO features than some of the other eCommerce solutions I have used. The learning curve for using the product catalog, categories, and attributes is a little steeper than OpenCart or BigCommerce (I can't speak for ZenCart), but it'll give you a far more polished finished product.

I prefer using x-cart. I have a team of 7 developers that work for me from india. Our team is very diverse and we can do this project for you to make you profit. I am from the US. PM me for more details and portfolio.

If your client uses Wordpress you can use WP-Ecommerce. I've set that up on a number of my clients' sites and they learn it pretty quickly.

I would recommend Magento as a good ecommerce solution.
