I miss pre-AI Internet so much. One of my favorite places, dear and lovely BHW, is already infested with these stupid account farming fucks who pollute their AI echo chamber crap everywhere they go. Hard to find genuine human opinions anymore.

I am so on edge today. Soon I might be approaching time where I sell all my assets move to third world country buy a farm and fuck off Internet forever.

At this point I am not even against BHW introducing KYC before accounts can post.

It's just something we have to live with.

Although the mods here do delete and ban the account farmers once you report them. I do it all the time I see them, and they respond within minutes.

I fell you man. The AI spam is so annoying, low-effort ChatGPT replies add nothing to discussions. But KYC might kill the forum vibe honestly.

Yeah it's inevitable but man... Everywhere I go, all my social media feeds are AI slop. That AI perfectionism. Fuck that shit. Good thing that generic ChatGPT slop often uses bold style so much and longer dashes (—) so I can immediately skip that opinion.

Agreed. Well some sort of digital id seem to be inevitable in 5 years or so to post on Internet. Makes complete sense it's gonna get enforced globally due to AI going out of control.
 
the dumbening of our society is happening in real time right now, it's true. Regular normies are losing the ability to think for themselves when AI has an answer to any problem within seconds. It's going to get so much worse down the line. Shit's out of control

Fully agree with you. I see how closed, high ticket paid communities are a way going forward. Pay a bunch of money but at least you know you're talking with a real person who has no motive to regurgitate AI slop for you.

The machines are taking over. Happening in real time right now. I hate how they made AI accessible for every monkey with pea sized brain for free

Theres no point really, people who using AI will pass verification, and keep using it anyway.

The AI problem isn't going away in any way, it's only getting worse. Just part of the new internet unfortunalety.

I find it ironic how this thread filled with frustrated humans about AI is going to get scraped by AI models asap and the slop machine will only get better at "being human" because of the content we, real humans, post here
 
Ai come with good and bad things . Forums and other blogs may get more spam content but also users can ask the AI to summarize the content related to a topic and make fast an informative overall decision. Is really a doubly edge sword where we need to addapt to

It's getting tougher for internet folks this days
Longer hours to get results than the quick results of 2008 and 2010
 
AI is just a slave but not a master. As long as humans chase comforts and shortcuts, AI will keep dumbing down things for them to the extent that they won't be able to make decisions for themselves. We're worried because AI is creating a lot of white noise making us waste a lot of time trying to find information while many people resort to AI for summarising it. At some point, it may become a new normal to ask AI to read and explain us even forum threads instead of us directly engaging with the content.
 
I miss pre smartphone times tbh. Everyone's just glued to their smartphones now. Degenerates all over the internet.

amen, brother! I've mentally given up 2 years ago... and the worst is still yet to come. The goal by 2030 is to link up the human psyche to the AI so that the AI can dictate all of our thoughts and emotions.

Yeah that's so fucked. I don't even bother anymore as that's problem impossible to fix. All I can do at this point is just leave a rant here and call it a day
