Beware to cross check wallet address to make sure it is the right one.
Alot of ransomware/viruses are changing wallet address when you copy your wallet address to there wallet address
 
Sad to see @TheVigilante that you've got social engineered to give out your seed for your wallet...
I hope you've learned something from it.

Maybe it's better to first try to research the underlying technology and try to understand it,
before speculating on any blockchain.

To give out the seed to anybody is equivalent to hand them over full control over your wallet
 
These type of scams are very common. We are surprised to see him falling for it but the reason is that we are not alert all the time. Sometimes the mood or situation is like that we do not notice the fraud.

@insom password for wallets usually are used to encrypt local wallets (I don't know trustwallet though I don't know if it's a local wallet).
Seeds are used to create the master private key for a wallet. With this master private key all sub-wallets private keys are created.
If the seed is leaked anyhow to somebody else, no password/encryption of your local wallet is protecting it anymore in any way.

With the seed everybody can recreate the master private key, and all subsequent sub-wallets private keys...

No way it can be solved. The scammers who ask others for crypto wallet pass phrases, and if provided the pass phrases, the scammers immediately empty any crypros in the wallets & the scammers cover their tracks after doing that.

So, as per you, how can this be solved ?

That is why one must NEVER share crypto wallet pass phrases or private keys with anyone whatsoever.
