So my 5k car account I've been working on super manually the past week and a bit, I logged into that shoutoutpost.com thingy and it made instagram suspicious or something, and it made it so I need to click forget password and reset it. Problem is I hadn't confirmed the email and I've actually forgotten what I used for it.
FFS.
REALLY.
I hope i eventually remember the email but if i don't I'll probably give up over this, that was my whole fucking instagram life rofl.

Sorry to hear that. Lesson learn. I've lost an acc cuz IG ask to confirm acc with email. Although I know the email address, hotmail asked to verify the acc & I disnt know my email personal info.
 
Can't you login to IG with your IG username instead of e-mail? :D
 
So your saying you don't have a spreadsheet where you put the details down, and you expect to try to build an income of "remembering" passwords and logins?
 
Yea, sorry, if you use other third party programs with IG they will do that. I don't believe there's a way around that.
 
I did this a few days ago and a quick google search of "forgot Instagram email yahoo answers" got me to the IG reset page where I entered my Username and told me the email address it was sending it to so that I could reset the password. It was the first yahoo answers search result for me.

Pretty much this.

I use a spreadsheet to keep track of all my accounts with their associated emails.

Don't lose hope OP. We all make these type of mistakes sometimes.
 
I've run into a similar situation before. I was somehow able to recover it by logging in via the web on Instagram's website with my old password and confirming the account somehow.

I did no such thing. That's what happens when you login with a third party application using a different IP on your account. Sometimes IG will flag it and reset the pass. It happens with instagress and other apps and bots. It's normal and there for security purposes. That doesn't mean I stole it. OP (and anyone for that matter) can access their account with their email. That happens all the time. Don't go making accusations on things you don't know.

And your proof is BS. Like I said, that's the message Instagram always gives when a new IP or app logs in on the account. Usually it only happens if there's more than one third party program on the account however. I'm sure many users here have gotten the same message when using a third party program on their account. The board deleted my thread because I think I have to pay (become VIP?) to post things like that which I don't mind doing, but didn't realize it till someone told me. It would be nice if someone could confirm that.

Hi, try to reset your password, and put your username there.
You will see a message like:
[h=1]Instagram[/h] Thanks! Please check (c*******[email protected]) for a link to reset your password.

Maybe if u know the first and last letters, it will help you to remember your email. Good luck.
