if i make a solar affiliate program in ny and charge people 20-30k , im paying my affiliates 2-3k per SALE, Who is with me?
I made $500 in teh first week!

If you had a program and paid 2-$3k per sale you would be out of business in about a week.
Margins on Solar sales/installations is not very big, also, if you can find another program with a higher commission let me know, because I have yet to see one. There are a lot of cost per lead deals going on, but most don't work because the traffic and lead quality sucks, that's why these folks have a per sale deal.
