I lost my WP Database - Can I go Back In Time?

Anyways, by some faults (dunno whos) I lost all by database which consisted of wordpress blog posts and etc.

Its not really important since it was a dummy site for my cpa offers, but the problem is that those articles written there were somewhat important and would save me heaps of time to rewrite.

I was wondering is there any program that can give me a look onto my website few days ago? I checked web archive but its last info comes from year 2008 jan 22 :/ which is kinda really old.

Any one?

check with your webhost. sometimes they can use a backup from previous days.

my host can give me just about any day of the previous week at any time.
 
You can check your webhost for a backup, but if they don't have one and if your database is deleted, than I believe it is too late. Did you have any pages cached by google or any other search engine? If so you can copy the articles from the cache.
 
Contact your host's support. Most probably they'll have a backup of your website, just ask them
 
Yeah, I just checked godaddy and its timestamp is 25-ts which is todays date :S

If you database is gone then there is not a way to get them locally.

Have you tried to google all pages indexed for your site:
Code: 
site:yourdomain.com

You can then click cached to see the cached version of pages that are indexed. Hopefully all your pages are indexed.
 
Do you have cpanel control?, i belirve there is a option to set it back, dont know for sure.
 
Do your web already indexed by google?
You can catch google cache
search google for example:
site:yourwebsite.com
then click cached

edit: oops.. already mention above
but you can use yahoo too with the same method

Have you talked to Mr. Peabody and Sherman they may let you use their wayback machine
 
I lost my WP Database too and it was an important site. However I have backups of the articles but I have to build the site from scratch again. I check it and there is no way to get it back. :(
 
Thanks, fortunately my site was indexed and I managed to copy paste my site, now I just have to reinstall plugins and etc :)

Thanks a lot, and let it be a lesson - always back up your db :D
