I Lost My Remote Web Design Job

Hi BHW Community,
I just lost my remote web design job today (My only income source) and I’m trying to figure out the smartest next steps to get new work coming in quickly.
I create WordPress websites, custom websites, and handle anything related to websites across various niches.
Right now I’m considering three paths:
  1. Doing old outreach to new businesses for a website design
  2. Reaching out to local/online web design agencies for freelance or contract work
  3. Putting more time into platforms like Fiverr/ other marketplaces
For those who’ve been in a similar situation, where should I be spending most of my time?
I want to prioritize whatever brings results fastest while still building long-term stability.

Any advice. Thanks
 
Advertise on BHW
don't look for the conventential ways. They are saturated, and boring. Look for ways you can create things that advertise your brand creatively. You can use some sites for example to write about web publishing and put your link in a signature and or bio, the same way people do here. Get in front of people today with socials and forums.
 
I was hiring several people in this month and based on response the market have been flooded with unemployed programers,webdesigner,webmasters

Get out of your comfort-zone, learn new skills not just designing, this field is already saturated imo, as well as video-editing. Goodluck!
 
Keep looking for work, but don't sit back and rely on your only skill. Upskill yourself.

You should also add looking for a job in your list of options.

Try adding video editing skills to your set of skills

When you pitch to a business,make videos to add to the site you already built them,
These will drive home harder than just a site
Remember,the main aim of a site is to make more business or money

If a business,will see a site, a video and an automated way to get things going
They will jumb in with their last dim
Do it until you gain money to leave that level

2..get Jnvp membership ship here and open a thread as a web designer and virtual assistant in same niche
Get your portfolio ready so you show them what you can do before they speak

This psychology behind this is that,
You should never depend on a single source as doing that is very mundane

all niches / works/profession can be divided into 3 money making channels
Including the web design you already know

If I were in your position, I would create a comprehensive list of new services to offer. Once you have identified these services, reach out to each of your existing customers and present them with a special promotion. Given their satisfaction with your previous work, I am confident they would be willing to give you another chance with a new offering. This approach not only strengthens your relationship with clients but also provides you with additional revenue streams while you explore further opportunities for income growth.
 
Well, all have to struggle from this situation. so many people are going through this phase.. Different jobs different places but situation is same.. You have to keep patience and need to try on other companies too.. Hope you'll get the job soon.
 
Look into LearnDash. Millions to be made in that niche.
My friend takes on huge projects in the US and the cold sales looks easy to me
