I Lost Almost Everything TODAY - April 24, 2012

guys i seriously thing they will roll back some of these changes( or at least hoping to ) for now it seems that from the user point of view, the results are way worse than before....hope they understand that.

Yup same here.

Got beaten up today quite severe by G for over a few dozen of 2+ yrs sites ranking top 3.

Gonna feel this one in my pocket next week for sure. Time to move to more agressive tactics cause sure as hell Google aint going to take away my income...

Same here, my main e-commerce site that makes $10,000 a month has gone from 5 and 7 to nowhere. The sites that are now ranking highly for those keywords are EMD's with NO content at all (some are parked), pages with keyword spamming or 1 page/article wordpress sites. Really makes sense....?!

I'm seeing the opposite. The only websites I've had dropped to nowhere are my EMD's...

It's not "luck". You did something different than I do. That's why you lost rankings and I didn't. Next time might be just the opposite.

Oh please, a site in a VERY competitive niche (think "how to lose weight fast") that is thin (3 pages of content) and I only did direct SB blasts to + large article networks to, in order to test services, is now #8...

Other sites increased that also had the same treatment or similar things done to them...
So no, your little method isn't what saved you, you just got lucky your sites weren't hit... that's it.

Only one of mine was hit, and it only dropped along keywords that were HIGHLY specific to what the user would be looking for and I hadn't marketed in over a year... my site sells XXXX, it drops on XXXX

All other terms increased...

I guess your right. I've checked over 300 keywords so far this morning across 80+ sites and a all but 3 have moved up. Why argue? I'm telling you there is no "luck" involved in SEO. Good testing produces good results. Welcome to reality.

I love when people who think they're shit doesn't stink have to face the music, it'll come one day rest assured... for your sites and everyone you've sold services to.

What worked before, and for a year is not working now, and being punished... your "good testing" that produced results then, would be punished now.

Again only 1 site across 3 keywords (one valuable keyword) dropped, however the rest of them even the spammed out ones, all increased... This update is way more complicated than your "my method is awesome buy from me"...

The only thing I can think of, is that site has held that position for a LONG time, and as a result, it seems google punished it therein, though that isn't entirely the case either...

+ Actually a site of mine where I used this "WildSEO Blast" moved up, wtf?! Allthought, other in this finance niche completely disapperead.

Next time you want to offer guidance, actually provide information.

Your smugness belies the fact you'll soon have all of your sites damaged and/or your network deindexed. What works now, will not work tomorrow.
When you put your finger on exactly why my SB spammed out sites with 7k d0follow SB links and such all increased let me know... I cannot fathom why this has happened.

If my site/keyword lost ranking, is there even worth rebuilding the site and re-ranking those keywords?
Or should i start a new site completely etc.
 
Lost 4 of my best performing sites, ugghh I feel sick. I'm really hoping it's just a bug, but g has been fucking things up pretty bad lately. Hopefully people stop using them more and more. It would be one thing if you know what is affecting sites and webmasters can adjust but they're just throwing random shit at the wall hoping it sticks. What works for one person drops another one, it's getting real ridiculous.
