Reminds me of the time that I bought 130m zeny worth of Old Blue Boxes (Ragnarok Online) and didn't get a single Hurricane Fury [1] (One of the best giant axes in the game). Then one day I was playing on another official server and ended up getting the axe on the 2nd OBB (1 OBB was worth about 100k) without even planning it.
Runescape was grindy hell for non-members about a decade ago. It would take 2 or 3 months to get the ingame money to afford Full Rune armor (worth 300k gold pieces) and you could lose it all in 5 seconds in the Wilderness (pvp area). I let my mom level up my character while I was at school and she took the entire bank with her(millions of gold pieces, thousands of magic runes, full rune armor, etc) without thinking it through and ended up getting pked (player killed) by some people who were on the lookout for suckers to gank.
If time = money then you could imagine that I wasn't happy. I come home and she's crying. I realize what happened and nearly have a meltdown of my own. I mean this shit was months upon months of 10-12+ hours of grinding every day. It's not like you can just casually let it run on autopilot and fix itself. (this was before I got into botting)
That's what happens when you take too many risks without thinking things through.
