I've found out that a term that I'm currently trying to rank for (300K EXACT monthly searches) has got a .info domain on auction (not even 1 year old), I can get it for under 200$ I guess. I already own the keyword-phrase.com domain (with dashes) - bought it aged (1 year old) for 500$ :<
Do you think getting the .info would be a good idea?
I've usualy followed the rule of not buying anything but .com, .net, .org.

But this is a 300k exact match term! and the exact match domain is free to be mine!

So would you move the website from the dashed address to .info?

You must remember, info domains requires hard working and time for ranking. Almost your current link building strategy will be double for this domains.

so is a .com domain with 2 dashes better than the .info? for example my-ultra-keyword.com

.com always good for SEO purpose. Dashes looks spammy to me but if you are preferring this then it will be good for you instead of info domains.

Well it actualy has came down to exact match .info or exact match .com with 2 hyphens.
For branding purposes info would be better thats 100% sure. How about seo? I've heard that 2 hyphens make the exact match dont count. What do ye guys think

PS:Just noticed that .us is avaliable for 50$!!
