I know this is a "Hail Mary" but....

I have a massive problem. I am locked out of my Facebook account that is my one and only account since the beginning of time, which is still very much active and in good standing WITH ads currently running on it, for a VERY dumb reason.

I used 2FA to secure my account and my authenticator is the Google Authenticator app on my phone. I switched phones, the authenticator app doesn't migrate authentication settings from phone to phone and I DIDN'T KNOW THAT!

So when I went home to login, I was locked out with no way to log in. Now I've got ads spending in the background and a profile that is in perfectly good standing that I can't access.

Is there ANY WAY to contact ANYBODY at Facebook and get this resolved? I have emailed every email account I can find with an @fb.com at the end of it. I've jumped through every hoop that Facebook has on their "Help" (yeah right) pages. I even conned one of their advertising strategists to call me and then pleaded with him to help and he didn't know hit butt from his face, TBH... completely useless.

How can a company THAT big be ran by such idiots? That a business account that has spent thousands over the course of years suddenly becomes bricked by a simply authenticator mishap that literally every other company can solve without any real problems? It's mind boggling . . . .

But yeah, I'm desperate here. My children and wife depend on my income to survive, and my income comes from sales that I make with FB lead ads. So if ANY of you know ANY way to get this account back PLEASE share. I'll Pay.

Before offering advice, I've tried the following:

• Recovering using Recovery Codes. I can't find them. Because I'm an idiot and didn't save them.
• Recovering by using my wife's account - keeps asking for Authenticator codes and we've already established why that's not possible
• Facebook used to send authentication codes to browsers you were logged into. They stopped doing that randomly...at least for me. So that's not an option and Facebook logged me out of everything randomly so yeah...
• Tried contacting through the Help page...that's not an option anymore that I can find

I changed phones recently and my old phone was naturally not charged and with no sim card in it. I was able to follow these steps to change everything over to my new phone:


On your Android device, go to your Google Account.
At the top, tap Security.
Under "Signing in to Google," tap 2-Step Verification. You may need to sign in.
Under "Available second steps," find "Authenticator app" and tap Change Phone.
Follow the on-screen steps.

I changed phones recently, from Android to IOS and the migration was smooth.
I've insert my sim card, downloaded Google Auth and followed all the normal steps without any issues.

Just my 2 cents.

If you have a iPhone and you didn't backup your 2FA app, you're pretty f*cked. With android you can still recover things..
