I Know HTML CSS And JavaScript What Should I Learn Next To Become A Complete Frontend Developer

Hi Everyone

I am currently learning frontend development and I want to know what technologies and skills I should learn to become a complete frontend developer

I have already learned HTML CSS and JavaScript and now I want to move on to the next technologies

I have seen many frontend development roadmaps online but almost everyone suggests a different path which has left me a bit confused

I would really appreciate a solid and practical roadmap from experienced frontend developers

If you had to recommend just one roadmap that can take someone from beginner to professional frontend developer what would you suggest

I also want to learn the important frameworks libraries tools and other skills required for modern frontend development

Please share your experience and suggest one clear roadmap so I can avoid wasting time learning unnecessary technologies

First do some basic websites using html, css & js after that move on to a js framework which you would like. maybe research which framework local jobs use like react, vue or angular. connect an api and do some dashboards

Frontend development is previous century job. Today if you're not fullstack you're unnecessary. More useful would be to become a coachman.

Where do you guys get this information from? Even though you are VIP you do not know any details. How can you say this without doing any research?

There is so much of a range of JS frameworks, that its a meme of how many there is! lol You learned the basics, cool, now decide what you plan to be buillding and where in 10 years. Take some time to study the roadmaps of careers outlines that are posted on github like this and become fluent in everything. You don't need to program anything yet, this can be your future thinking, into what you want to use. You can get REAL busy whenever you want with projects and make a good portfolio, but don't spread yourself too thin, and always consider consolidating your knoweldge for strength, while you expand it too.

Personally i tried lots of programming languages and a couple of js frameworks, but nothing made sense to me with those, as much as where i am now. I just settled on pure Java, as thats what works well for just what i need it for, and my speed of working.

Because front can be done in an hour with Claude. I've already created many complicated ones without understanding a thing xD

Simple crappy? Do you know what's editing lol. I can design almost anything that you can't recognize it's AI . Those are noobs who can't make changes

Just use it correctly and it's gonna be better than 90% of the front devs

A practical path would be:

JavaScript → Git/GitHub → TypeScript → React → React Router → API/REST → modern CSS/Tailwind → testing (Vitest/React Testing Library) → Next.js → deployment (Vercel) → basic accessibility, performance, and security.

Alongside that, get comfortable with npm, browser DevTools, HTTP, JSON, async programming, responsive design, accessibility, and Git workflows.

You don’t need to learn Angular, Vue, React, Svelte, and every CSS framework to become a professional frontend developer. Depth in one ecosystem + strong JavaScript fundamentals + actually shipping projects will take you much further than collecting technologies.

I used to be a developer for 8 yrs. Now I own a software development company
