I keep getting spam comments on my blog. What does that mean?

There is a plugin called bulk remove comments. That will automatically remove pending comments, use that and safe your blog from spamming by adding captcha plugin too.

WP Captcha-Free plugin puts a capthca authorization field before the comments, so robots can't autospam you. Akismet works well, but it needs some help.

While its bad that you are getting spammed it actually is a nice bit of info you can reverse to find out how your blog is ranking in regards to terms you may not have even thought about. Should you have a blog that is mainly based around selling widgets, but you keep getting scraped and spammed with comments that seem to all relate to sites selling trinkets, then maybe you should check into how popular you are in search engines for trinkets and capitalize on that ranking, etc.

Never approve any comment which is not niche with you. You can use captcha code for your site. I hope it will reduce your spam comment.
