i just saw a real ghost or something?!

i was having a dream i was over a friends house and he was about to go eat then something happened and other people were in the room and some kind of fight happened and i totally fucked someone up like doing some crazy shit i threw her out the window after she attacked me and then like with my mind lifted her back up into the building and then sucked her into the foundation of the house under it.. (this is not the wierd part) then my friend is like ok lets get something to eat almost after this chick started going into the foundation between the wall i started feeling a pull on me and she got sucked in then i made my way to my friend who was telling me lets go get something to eat he was standing in a door arch and i was like i cant something is pulling on me and i was struggling to get to him.. this woke me up.. and right in front of my eyes was this like white colored gray bluish colored thing that i can only describe to be a ghost or a spirit there was a hand sticking into my chest and the thing was pushing me into the bed i couldn't move the hand movement was so real pushing me down battling the ways i was trying to move to get up and it was a guy looking at me with long white curly but silky looking beard and had some kind of like pirate or cowboy hat i was trying to get up for like 5-10 seconds like wtf is going on i started getting scared i kept going and it just like evaporated or something and i was sitting up.. now i am here writing this.. it was not part of the dream i was out of the dream in my bed and there was this thing over me for real and i managed to situp i was scared when it was happening but after i managed to get up i was not scared anymore. i had to share with some people it is like 1am here and no one is up.

i have had the whole paralyses thing before in bed where you wakeup and can't move but ive never ever seen anything after waking up sitting there staring at me like that it was so real and definetly not something i dreamt i was awake (like the part where u wakeup and then are stuck in bed and cant move) after sitting up computer was right next to me and i turned it on n went straight here and typed this.. thoughts? you might call me crazyy right now i know, but people often do when they are faced with something they can't really comprehend an answer to and brush it off as the person being crazy someone leave me a response please.

Wow, my little sister had a similar situation of what you just described. Sometimes I wish I could see these things to know there is an afterlife.

Depending on the degree of sleep paralysis, extremely vivid hallucinations are often experienced. I often have them and honestly feel like I'm completely awake with my eyes open even though they're shut. The feeling of being "pushed down" is also associated with paralysis and is often incorporated into these "visions" (many people see old ladies sitting on their chest, or demons or spirits pressing their chest down). When I was young, I had sleep paralysis on a pretty frequent basis, and physically now I still can't tell you that some of the things I saw didn't look and feel absolutely real and scared me deeply.

Now that I'm older, I don't experience frightening hallucinations anymore as I've learned to control the experience and usually just go back to sleep.

I had a similar experienced but i did try to move my finger and my gf was beside me, I really tried hard to wake up and also trying to reach her with my finger hopefully she could wake me up but I failed. So I concentrate and stay calm, I'm aware whats going on even if my head hurts so much, its like someone was grabbing my brain. So when I woke up I told my gf about what happen. Funny thing, She did notice my finger trying to reach her but she didnt mind because she thought I just want to fuck her. Wtf? seriously? I almost died you b*tch.

Are you taking medication? (Don't answer in the forum - nobody's business) Self-medicating yourself with any other type of meds (drugs)?

Even Doctor's prescriptions can get you seeing things and feeling things!

There are things called succubus and incubus. Succubus - is relating to your sucking references in the dream.

Incubus is the male version - with relative manifest activity.

You saw both!

As a psychotherapist I lean toward no. 1 explanation.

As a minister, I know that the 2nd is a real possibility.

not on any kind of medications, i know about the whole sleep paralysis thing its happened to me about 4-5 times in my life before but i never saw anything, yeah drs say it is hallucinations from the brain, it really is something from your brain but that doesn't mean whatever i saw wasn't real Drs are just trying to explain something they don't understand so it is labeled a hallucination but maybe just maybe there is more to the story that the human brain can comprehend so it is labeled as hallucinating.

strange facts probably unrelated but almost exactly one year ago (maybe today maybe a day before or after this date) i was hit by a car 40 mph while crossing the street almost died, i know it probably has nothing to do with this but an interesting fact for this story none the less.

i dont know who the female was in the dream but it seemed like possessed, but i totally took control of the dream i just remember her like talking like evil noise kinda shit and threw something at me and i said something about how i was in control and i then proceeded to fuck her up and could do whatever i wanted to her.. kind of like a lucid dream only i wasn't lucid ive had lucid dreams b4.

not to be wierd again but this is what the beard looked like (i know this is a picture of santa) like a silky look and when it was moving the hairs were moving back n forth like a persons hair would.. also it had some sort of hat like i mentioned before like a cowboy hat or pirate looking hat and it seemed like it had big clothes i couldn't really tell definetly a male figure, it did not seem happy.

I see where this is going... nope none of those people, beard was exactly like the 'santa' beard maybe a bit wider and baggy clothes like a druid would have except on the head looked like a pirate hat or cowboy hat idk shit was crazy after getting a good nights sleep I still think it is real.. think merlin the magician look but no wizard hat and evil as fuck..



this picture actually looks alot like what i saw except change his beard to the santa looking beard from my previous picture and everything in like a white blue gray kinda transparent look and none of the circle things or patterns.

I lived in a house growing up that used to be a slave house. It was a historical house. In the basemeant where chains on the wall, where they used to keep the slaves. Sooo many things happened in that house! At night and sometimes even in the day, you would hear crying coming from the basement. Sometime's singing as well. Upstairs in the bedroom, you would hear a baby crying, a few seconds later foot steps into my bedroom, then a rocking chair moving with a shhh shhh shhh. We finally had to move because my mom couldn't handle it anymore.

But, recently I've started having the "sleep" paralysis thing too. It started about a year ago, and has happened a few times. Everytime its the scariest thing. Your wide awake, can't move, can't even blink, and you feel like something is holding you down. It's a chemical thing, you wake up, but there's still the sleep chemicals in your brain. I know I'm not explaining it right, but you know what I mean.
