I like to do random numbers, and i notice that BHW has 83,740 members and 22,525 active members if dave decided to charge 20 bucks 1 x a year not 12 months but just 1 time, this forum would make, $450,500.00 just from the active members now to be realistic lets say 50% of the active members didn't pay 20 bucks that still leaves $225,250.00

AMAZING.

now those are some really high numbers and honestly.. the welath of info i have learned $20 over a year is $1.50 a month or only 5 cents a freaking day! i make that in 10 minutes of ONE autoblog i set up from learning stuff here.. It would also reduce the ppl on here that waste time..

Just think about the amount of jnr Vips. 97$ each, ones a year.
The odd add here and there.
Ads up to a pretty decent amount.

But then again you can clearly see this whole forums runs from a coder/seo stand point.
The marketing effort is quite low, and i have a feeling diamond dave is pleased with the outcome so far.
Don't get me wrong it's a great forum. But it's kind of a big ship without a captain.
You got the mods running around patching holes to stop the water from coming in and doing some small improvements.
But they never set sail.

Know what i mean?
There isn't real business plan or goal they are aiming for.
I don't think they reached there money making potential by far, they can only expand.

building a profitable forum happens in the course of years......it's not as fast as some pple think it is.

first you have to build a community....w/regular members...then over time word of mouth builds the membership base. in time, search engines index all the posts/content made by the members and that's how new pple find the site...

but in my experience, this doesn't happen over night. go and check out bhw w/way back machine and see how small it started out.....and how it grew over time ;)

jmo....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the idea behind BHW... an unbiased, free to share/discuss anything marketing related community... I personally like it very much that there is no "captain" or "set sail" steering BHW to guide every member to a certain action as the forum's goal... I mean they do have a great newsletter for that, but I really like the very open, influence free front-end of the forum... and the staff are unbelievable, apart from creating amazing tools to help us save time while achieving greater results, they actively participate in discussions, suggestions, maintenance, and such... you really couldn't ask for anything more than what BHW already is.

Personally all that I can notice about BHW is that it is by far (and I mean very, very far) marketing forum out there. I'm very glad to be a part of this community, helping others, and knowing that I can get help when I really need it.

I'd pay the $20.
This would be to prevent the less than desirable users from being here ...I think.
Then BHW could pay the great mods here.

Seriously, I think there would be more $$$ going in if we could get the DONOR or some
other designation ... but with a little more tolerance than WF War Room. They banned me
just cuz they feel intellectually challenged by one statement even though I paid the fee and
did about 5 WSO's and made great posts and was helpful to others. They would have made another $200 off of me by now. A suspension ( even a long one ) would have been a more appropriate remedy, from a biz perspective. But there was a cry baby over there, I think.

Yes, if there was a $20 volutary donation for an esteemed designation and valuable
tolerance here, I'd pay it.

Look in the memberlist and do the math.

Based on my calculations they currently make $77`000 a year from subscriptions.

lol @ you thinking 50% of people would pay.. look at the number of "how make $2/day????" threads.. seriously.
