Top ranked 1 site only has <300 backlinks Ecommerce store

Any thoughts? Is this too good to be true?

Could I just build a word press review type site with amazon monetization?

I like using this tool to check the competition of the top results on Google for any given keyword.
http://www.learn2rank.com/members/keyword-inspector/
It will give you a better idea of what you're up against instead of just looking at the backlinks of one site.

Yes, probably test it out. If it's success, then might even try build a ecommerce store for this.

Anyone know roughly what's % conversion rate for a ecommerce shop? Price around 100-300.

check for EMD domain
if it is available then go for it
if it is already taken then analys how many backlinks it has
if EMD is not ranking then its not worth to waste time

I even don't do competition research anymore..
Now I just look for how many searches are, and go on it.

I've got a few ideas for you. Use WooCommerce and integrate it with the Woocommerce amazon plugin for WP, it'll go along just fine. Make sure you add content on the back-end.
