I just can't save money.

Then stop spending money on projects that dont end up working. Re-work your business plan.

Really, a good way to make it in this business goes like this.

Sit down, do proper keyword research, then take like $300. This step is do or die to my business plan, so its crucial you pick a good keyword that you can monetize.

Invest that $300 in backlinks, and get the money rolling in on the site. Once the site generates the $300 back, put that back in your pocket, use the money generated by the website to invest in another.

This is called scaling up. Once you have 2 websites going, then you can always take one and fully invest it, and keep the other to yourself. And then repeat..

This is my business plan.

Just think about your new projects first before jumping in and buying domains hosting etc. Have a plan... not to be poor

cut down on other unnecessary expenses, also if you think you have grown your business enough, you can probably put some money aside instead.

Like earlier point someone made, open up a high interest savings vehicle and have it auto withdraw from your checking account. If you can't resist the temptation, try another bank account (separate from your regular checking account) or even try locking into a savings plan for 1 or 3 year term (penalty for early withdraw).

As soon as you get a check or money in PayPal, pay your self first. Transfer a set percentage to savings right away. This will soon become a good habit.

I never spend more than 60% of my money. That's just me!
