I tried so many times.

I keep building new WordPress websites, but I just cant move on from the classic editor...
Everytimg I promise ill give the new editor a chance, and I find myself going back and installing the 'classic editor ' plugin. cant control myself.
Dont know what to do anymore, seems like ill never move on and forget the past.

need advice, how do I move on?

So what is the problem? LOL, anything wrong with the classic WP? I don't see major issue here, its not yet Friday for the happy weekend wishes LOL

Try Jekyll and use markdown, so you have no way to play with features. Maybe WordPress is not what you're looking for...

Maybe you should try classicpress? I think it's a fork from the original wordpress but keeps the classic editor. I haven't tried it myself, but I keep thinking about it.

if it's just blog posts, classic editor is more than enough.
if you need some design element, gutenberg is way much better. and it has improved A LOT and quite easy to use.
what i see people don't like gutenberg is it turns out to be a page builder, and people who only write regular posts see gutenberg bloated.

but the html code output by gutenberg is quite clean, i'd suggest anyone that focus on more than just writing blog posts give gutenberg a go.

No. Static site generators like Jekyll. It can be hosted for free on github pages. Unlimited hosting. Ez development. It doesn't force you to use some stupid admin panel where some hacker can break through.
