So I bought a 200k+ sub Verified Youtube Channel. (crypto niche)

All videos have been deleted.

Its not monetized but can remonetize.

Do you guys recommend I rebrand this? I'm looking to make a crypto channel myself.

I also want to know is it still possible to get the Youtube Play Button? Does one know how I go about this?

I also plan on hopping on camera as well!

Any advice would be amazing!

there are multiple marketplaces where you can buy all type of channels but be careful - sometimes they do sell you good channel but then they come back and put violoation case against you - that these videos are not yours. Had bad expereicne with Youtube but others seemed fine.

You need to warm up the account for few days
 
The next button you'll receive will be at 1.000.000. So you still have some room to grow. The 100.000 are sent out automatically to the adress of the owner, this means you'll have to change this. Can't really give you advice on your account, since I don't know what content there was before. You might run into problems with rebranding, because people will unsubsribe which could hurt your CTR. Should've thought about this before buying..
 
You should stay active without changing any info for a few days. YouTube will collect device stats so you shouldn't create suspicious activity on a new device. After 1-2 weeks, you can change account details. I wouldn't suggest switching niche as it would make some users unsubscribe. You can do rebranding and improve engagement with better content.

ive seen those sites where users list their accounts before but I never knew if i could trust them or not so i always stayed away from it.

I'm assuming he didn't pay very much.
I've seen channels with 200k subscribers listed for less than $2000.

These channels are often in random non-English languages and are most likely shadow-banned. Potentially even botted.

I hope you did some due diligence OP.

coincidentally i just creat a channel some days ago, if u wanna some help with a editor, SEO on the vids or something hang me up ;P
 
What? Did you simply buy out of impulse with no prior plan for it?
 
I've purchased my fair share of youtube channels over the past 3 or 4 years.

From gaming, health to investment channels.

You'll be fine to start posting videos, they very rarely get crazy traction.

Start posting videos of anything and everything, hopefully, the 200k will act as a catalyst for more recent subscribers to join the party.

Stay clear of affiliate links, for now, they can always come later.

Simple information articles are best to start. for Crypto, just state the benefits of coins that are pretty under the radar. Clickbait titles like '3 hidden crypto gems no-one is talking about' then start with something like SNTVT and BITC or something.


Stay consistent and you'll do well, I loved my crypto channel but the hardest bit is maintaining credibility.

Luckily I quit while I was ahead and sold that channel.

Idk why everyone assumes people are always lying here lol, but heres proof of the channel...

Anyways, its verified as a crypto channel and the most recent views are from USA which is awesome.

I deleted the original videos as I don't think they mattered. I'd like to start fresh with this channel.

I'm pretty well-versed in crypto which is honestly why I bought it and I feel like I can make some serious content on Youtube.

A lot are asking if I had a plan when I bought it...Well, sort of but not really haha. I knew I wanted to get on Youtube and my source was pretty trusted so why not. The price was definitely not cheap lmao, PM me if you want to know. I saw it mostly as an opportunity. I'm confident in being able to make back my initial investment back plus hopefully lots more!

I don't really care about the 228k subs engaging with my content or not as I'm going to rely heavily on the Youtube Algo to rank my videos.

All I wanted to know was how to get the silver play button if anyone had any idea. The check mark is cool and I know if I change the name, it will go away. But I'm confident in getting approved once re-applying and publishing some regular quality content. Just wanted to hear all your opinions.

I'm going to put out some serious content and will probably start a journey thread on this!
