I hope no one gets offended.

I just had a fun chat with my uncle who is a bald man and in his 60's now but he lost most of his hair
since he was like 30 or so and he never had any kind of complexes about his baldness, he laughs when people
make joke about it and even he makes jokes about himself saying that he brings some light to anywhere he goes and such ...

So why do some bald people get offended about their lack of hair ? Is it that bad ?

btw. next time this subject comes up I'll ask him this:

My brother had a solar cell tattooed on his bald head....he told me once that my hair turned gray, his turned loose.

My whole family is cool...except me.

Some guys put a lot of value on their hair (me being one of them) I have an epic head of really thick hair. I try not to get bummed out about things and stay positive, but I can't help dreading the day it starts falling out.

It's just that a head full of lush hair is a sign of virility for men, kind of like how women like to have nice shapely tits and ass. Both sexes get a little depressed when signs of their youth start fading. It just forces them to face the fact that they are getting older and their sexual attractiveness is fading.

But I guess it's not all bad; a lot of bald guys can be very attractive to women. Bruce Willis, Patrick Stewart, etc. I decided when I start going bald, I'm going to just shave it off and embrace the new look.

A bald head is still better than a comb over.

I have lost 1/4th and I am pretty sure I will lose the other 3/4th very soon. I don't care because I am a Joe Satriani fan
