I HIT 50K! Monetization help..

Hello guys,

First of all i want to thank all of you for taking your time to post guides, everything is very helpful!

I started my account last January and since the beginning till now i have NEVER used a bot, script or anything. All the work such as follow / unfollow, posting and everything has been done using my own hands. I have gained 12k followers last month, which I think is pretty good and my engagement has been around 2000 - 3000 likes per photo, sometimes my photos go viral and I can get around 6 - 7k. I think it's quite a lot of work and time invested in this, I have made around £100 since I've started my account.

I have no plans, but I'm thinking of printing a T-shirt or a phone case design and selling it, but I'm not really experienced in monetization, so i don't know if it is a good idea. I have left my e-mail in my bio, but nobody has contacted me really.

Any tips/advice you can give me on how can I start monetizing would be awesome, I am willing to still work hard and it would be awesome if i start earning even £5 - £10 a day.

P.S: I am in the cars niche, my account has been created in November also, but I started posting regularly from January.

Damn.. grats man. How did you get to 50K in 6 months? How many follow/unfollow/likes were you doing?

Contact car niche brands and ask them to collaborate with you. DM and send them an email, if they have one on their BIO. Otherwise look for their email on their website.

Contact them every week, until they come back with something, or tell you to F*** off. Always be polite, even if they tell you to go J*rk off. Brands, or the person handling the account, will sometimes change their mind and come back to you at a latter time.
So, pissing them off with a nasty reply, or not being professional, will leave a really bad taste in their mouth and not help you at all.

Thank you mate, I will start working on it tomorrow.

On my last six posts my average likes are 3500, so I think it would be a good idea to launch a product to see how it goes?
 
damn, that must have been a lot of work to do everything manually, congrats for that, many give up quite fast, 6 month is a lot of work and it seems it paid off. As for monetizing it, try selling shoutouts or check clickbank for a related product and add the aff link in your bio, see what happens after 1-2 posts, change it if it doesn't work, keep it if it's good.

It is mate, following and unfollowing, keeping up with 20 like/comment groups, posting 3 times a day on the exact times.. I mainly want to ask you is using clickbank and affiliates links safe? In terms of shoutouts as i said i have earned around £100 from it, but nobody seems to contact me on my e-mail and I see people in my Like/comment groups with 20k followers doing advertising .. Like whaaat.. :D Thanks for the reply also mate!

If the link doesn't piss anyone off to report it, it should be ok, however since you've worked so hard on this it could be a better idea to set up your own domain and advertise stuff there than directly through a clickbank link. As for shoutouts, there are a couple marketplaces for that kind of things, not sure how good they are though as i haven't used any...

Well If i put a post of the product and then the link is in the bio i don't really see a reason for someone to report me. I will try clickbank i think, should be all right I think.
 
Keep on growing for that 100k+ and don't forget a business email in bio so smaller accounts can reach out to you to buy shoutouts or something.
Also, with cars niche, you can either get clothing, or try like small keychains of car parts (turbos, wheels, etc)

Yes mate, this is what I am thinking of doing because it seems like it is the safest method along with shoutouts. I am willing to try anything you guys recommend (affiliate marketing, cpa etc.) as long as I know that it's safe and won't result in me getting banned. :/

Honestly in my case, without using a bot the main thing is being consistent EVERY day. I did follow/unfollow 60 per hour, i tried doing it 7 - 8 times a day, because obviously I can't do it every single hour lol. But mainly post interesting posts every day, follow and unfollow every day and don't give up. Experiment with time postings, hashtags to increase your engagement and that's how you get followers. Get your posts in the top posts, so they get viral and that's how you gain a lot of followers in a short amount of time. For example i think it was last month one of my posts got 10k likes in 2 days and in those 2 days i got 2500 followers.

You are right,but I'm curious why you don't buy a bot to automate follow/unfollow? Also I think it's good idea to join engagement groups, so you will reach explore page more easily.

I forgot to mention that I am in 25 engagement groups, my pictures get around 80 comments, but you can only imagine how much work it is - Returning to all 25 groups, following and unfollowing, posting photos etc. For the last 2 months I have been putting solid work.

P.S: About the bot thing, I am super tight on money now unfortunately.. If I can start making some money on IG i will get it, but I can't at the moment :/

Thought I would just post an update, because it seems my page is "blowing up" in terms of growth.

I am at 52.5k followers and my engagement per photo is 3,300, so just a little above 6%, which I think is pretty good and I've been gainig around 400 followers per day.

One person contacted me about a shoutout, but still waiting for a reply. I registered on famebit and sent a few offers, but still pretty much dead there... And lastly I am looking for a site, where I can design a cool t-shirt design to launch it on my bigcartel shop and see what happens. Again any advice/tips are always welcome and helpful, thanks all!
