Hey folks, so strange question. I have capital and I have time and drive to make myself some money. I recently had my biggest source of income taken away from under me unfortunately. Thankfully I saved my money from it and I have some capital to propel me onto the next big thing. I'm pursuing things that I enjoy doing such as YouTube but I'm wanting something I can sink my teeth into and make some good monthly income from.

Any ideas which direction to point to? My skills are mainly around face to face selling (IRL) and I code as well. I'm also willing to learn fast and hard.

This may be an unanswerable question and I'm not looking for spoon feeding angels! Be gentle.

Thanks folks!

I guess the obvious answer first is to check all the Making Money sub-forums here, as there are 1000 other threads asking this same question :D

And if you enjoy making content for YouTube, why not try to pursue that? Won't dig much into your savings. All you really need to do is find a niche you know something about (not gaming) and start making some epic content.
With a small investment you can create a brand (logo, intros, royalty-free music etc.) and you can even afford to pay some editors to get started if you don't feel like editing your own content. (But since you have time now, might as well get into some editing as well so you can get your own touch into the videos.)

If you are interested in it, might as well dive into YT SEO basics as well, as there are tons of threads here discussing that as well.

His answer might be your best bet. I would highly suggest that you look into youtube since you can make minimum wage after a few weeks and maybe even a few days. Try to find a niche that you are interested in and then talk about it on youtube. But rather go for quality videos not the quantity.

(There is also a guy who posted a Journey where he makes none of the videos himself. He outsources everything and already made a decent amount of money. Might want to read it for some motivation)

Good luck man!

If you have good in-person selling skills I'd capitalize on that. Possibly something B2B, maybe use that coding knowledge to solve a problem in a certain industry and go out and pitch it.
