Hm..People from Australia seems pretty friendly and sociable to me. Don't know if is it just for me, to make this impression with some experiences and generalize it, but congrats anyway
 
Sydney is a very nice place to live.
You got everything there; sea, sand, sun.
The public transportation is the best.
Unfortunately, it is the most expensive city in the world to live right now :(

i agree its really expensive ilke the internet i have to pay over $100 a month to be on a unlimited plan with decent provider while in USA they experience unlimited for as low as $30 a month now with the NBN (National Broadband Network) i don't whats gonna happen
 
Haven't been in Australia, but Dublin is my 2nd favorite town in the world (1st one is Oslo)

I live on the Gold Coast and Sydney in comparison is the armpit of Australia. But, due to the rip off government and the communist mentality im heading back to the USA. There is nothing good here, not one thing to write home about. The worst country in the world. Sad to say because im an aussie and i have to TRASH my own country. So if youve moved here recently you'll want to go back home in less than 2yrs. Mark my words.
 
Welcome to Australia!! And to ^^^ You're living in the Gold Coast and you don't like it? What's not to like about it? Surfers Paradise, sluts everywhere, theme parks right near you and always good weather.

I know a lot of people who have moved to Australia from Ireland (mainly construction), not really surprised the way the economy is here in Ireland, and how well the economy is in Australia.

Sydney is fantastic I grew up in Surry Hills and I'm not far from the center of it either.

Seems like all Irish end up in Bondi...:D
