OK, so after months of fannying about with every method under the sun, after endless hours of content writing and hundreds of pounds worth of software, after trying on every colour of hat under the sun - be it black white or yellow...
I have finally got my wife's business to number one on three out of four mega hard keywords. One of them which has blown 7 google places out of the water, which some said would never happen.
I thank you. And google..."go **** yourself - places is killing many small businesses."
Heres the thing, Im now terrified I am going to lose the position. This is not a flyby niche domain and so I need my results to stick. I am worried about how much of my house is built on solid foundations.
Most of my direct backlinks are of an ok nature (most. it has had an occasional blast from somewhere or other). But generally my footprints have been as small and targeted as possible. However I have been aggressive, working on it day and night. link here...link there. The bottom tiers have had thousands of links built. I have not stopped.
So does that mean - I should continue at this pace so that it doesn't slow down over night? Im not sure I can afford to!
Or by continuing at this pace do I draw attention to the quality of the links?
Do I just find ways to diversify the link types? I'm hoping that eventually genuine interest in the company will take over - till then Im not sure what to do with myself. Im like the greyhound that caught the rabbit
Thanks
