I'm sorry to hear that. Ironically, I have also been paid to kill you! I am a hitman for the cia, and they have deemed you as an armed and extremely dangerous individual who threatens our national security. The hit is for $20,000,000. Out of respect for a fellow hitman, and since you were nice enough to give me a heads up (I don't usually do this, as I am fairly ruthless), but I will too let you slide. You will need to send me $2,000,000 (which is only 10% of the price on your head) but as I said, I respect my fellow hitmen. Be safe, and just remember. Until I receive $2,000,000 your life is severely in danger. Sorry to be so blunt, but business is business. Im sure you will understand

Hahaha, we even get these types of scams by telephone here in Brazil.
About a month ago my mother in law received a phonecall that they had kidnapped her doughter, they even put a girl on the line who screamed for help pretending to be here and that they wanted $$. It freaked her out, so she called us in all panic ... it's amazing how many people still fall for that!

If I saw this in my inbox I would know it was a scam straight away. Chances are I wouldn't even read it. I hardly check my email any more unless I am expecting something in particular because I just get so much junk.
