I don't want to believe it's because i am using the free version.

Same situation here. We're using the 'pro' version and get the same error.
 
I'm getting the same message. I checked on Reddit, and other people are having issues as well.

I almost paid for the pro thinking i was the problem. :(

I hope they fix this on time, let me manage Claude pending the time or what else is better than GPT?
 
This is a temporary issue, OpenAI is facing a downtime right now, let's see how quickly they will solve it. That's why it's good to have access to Gemini, Grok, Claude and other alternatives to reduce your dependence on a specific AI tool.
 
I got two errors while using the o3 model today. I'm not sure if it was just me or something bigger begging to happen again.
 
I think it is back on now guys. They can't afford to go for that long, most AI will be affected.
