I have been converted

Well, I never thought I would see the day.

Over the last five weeks I have had terrible issues with two refurbished laptops I bought.

Dell XPS 13 and Haewei matebook pro

Both top spec. Both caused me serious agro.

Asked for a refund.

I thought what the hell, what's the worst the could happen.

After seeing threads from @BassTrackerBoats and I think @MisterF I decided to try out a MacBook pro.

I have had it since Thursday and so far, I am mclovin it.

I just created two short event videos on iMovie and it was seamless.

Great to type on, it feels amazing.

I have always firmly been android and Microsoft all my life. So this was a big step.

So far, I do not regret it.

Love the OS

hate the hardware. Overpriced.

is that a new model?

I do admit the keyboard is very efficient. doesn't feel like your pushing a spring.

Other than that i'm a hardcore IBM/Lenovo guy

It is a refurb. 2017 2.3Ghz.

I was a bit nervous as I did want the quadcore but I wanted to keep the outgoings down.

Yes the hardware is way overpriced, I would only buy a refurb as it was worth the money for the spec I needed.

The OS is brilliant, so far.

I have been a HP, Dell, Lenovo guy all my life. My PC is a Lenovo, but I am being swayed now just for how functional the OS is on the MacBook.

Everything is at your finger tips.

Great to type on.

i can felt you bro. Been using window for 20 years and converted to macos recently.
