Hello, i have been accpeted into the yahoo directory today, and i have another question, i have around 30-50million pages on my website, do i have to create a sitemap? its will take for me half of year to finish the sitemap....i just wonder if i have to submit it or google will do it automatic?
i have approved on Yahoo Drectory finally...

Op, Congrats on paying US$400 dollars on being put into a directory. If that's what you want more power to you! On the pages that seems amazingly high. How do you have even a thousand pages without a site map? Are you using wordpress for your website or something else. Wordpress has pluggins that will actually make up your sitemap in minutes automatically like Google XML Sitemaps amongst others. Go to Google tools and search for sitemaps and Google will give you a list of suggestion of automated software that will make your website a sitemap. Hope this helps.
As you being a newbie let me give you a word of advice. When you post something on this forum be quick to the point and give correct information. You don't want to be labeled as piece of dong! Always thank the people that you get help from even if it is off their post. These simple steps can get you ahead of the game on this forum. Oh one more thing. Don't ask for people to do your work for you. People are willing to help only so far. If you are not helping yourself you will see nobody helping you. Post updates so people can see what you did after you asked a question, etc.

you have to create your sitemap. Simple answer. And i think its a big site so you must do this.

Sitemap allows the search engines to crawl your website. It's not mandatory but must be included on any static or dynamic website.

I think he downloaded the US Business list and turned it into some kind of directory and generated a page for each listing. That is my guess.
No way he has more than 500k and has any idea of what is there.
But, as someone above said, A1 Sitemap Generator is good.
