I read from one of Lebron James's tweets (dont remember exactly when) but basically Lebron said he is interested in investing in artificial inteligence after retiring. So I come up with an idea of buying the domain bron.ai (his famous nickname). This domain currently listed on namecheap for $139 which I think is a fair price because I can flip it to Lebron for tens of thousands in the future. Suppose Lebron dont buy it I still have a nice and short domain name for my online AI business. Do you guys think I should go for this ?

If u have enough money and u will not lose at all will be good idea as u said u will have short domain too but if u dont have enough money so try to search another way for invest

Its a gamble but you can go for it.
 
I don't know if it's a good idea to buy that domain.

But what I know is, if you want to buy the domain, you should've bought it before asking in public... ;)

If I were you, I would decide very quickly now.

I didn't actually buy, it was just a joke. But someone could buy it immediately. It was like sharing his password. And this joke was a lesson to him.

Or did someone else actually purchase it? I am not sure lol.

curious to know, what made you think that he wont buy lebron.ai ?
 
Just beware of possible trademark issues, so do your research first (USPTO, WIPO databases) to determine how comprehensively the name has been trademarked.
 
Lol, why would you expose & telling everyone that you are planning to buy bron.ai? It's like giving someone your login credentials to your bank accounts.
