Hey guys. I have joined Affiliate Marketing for one year. I have an idea to extract more traffic to the niche website or product affiliate commission.

I want to download the PDF documents or tutorials as many as possible and replace all the hyperlinks in the PDF to my referring URL. Then re-distribute them again. Is it illegal? o_Oo_O

Or I can try to convert some content to PDF and add the hyperlinks directing to my niche website.

The only one challenge I think is how to add hundreds of hyperlinks to these PDF documents or replace original hyperlinks in an easier way.

Any suggestions or ideas?

I have done this in the past many years ago.

I used to download popular Forex trading PDF torrents. Change the links. And make new torrents out of the PDFs.
 
If the original documents are protected by copyright, then yes it is unlawful to do that.

However as @mickyfu says you'll not be the first nor the last to do it.
 
No need to worry about copyright stuff just make sure your aff links are not easily traceable.

Black hat does not mean shady! And for the record I am not trying to get on anyone's back who is doing this, good for them and do whatever you need to but dont confuse black hatters with immorality.

While black hat is not illegal, almost all of it do not create value, only nuinsance including this case. OP actually steal affiliate link

I have abandoned to try my idea but surprisingly, I found a tool named PDF Link Editor could be used to add and replace pdf hyperlinks in batch. I have tried. Amazing tool.
 
when you're starting out, it's best to.....JUST DO IT
