Is it a waste of money if it doesn't correlate with the expired domain?

You mean if the domain you are going to buy doesn't related to your money site?

If yes, I don't think its considered to be waste of money if that expired domain have good quality. But its better to buy domain which is related to your money site

I agree with you. for example I have a zombie blogspot. I made a new niche for Blogspot Zombies. And this can, even though it takes time

For My opnion, better looking for the same niche like yours website, but, if you can't find any, you can try to modify your expired domain by changing the niche as the same as yours, Correct me if i am wrong, but thats what i am learning

If you buying expired domains kindly check them is they your niche relevanted or not and then analyze the backlinks historys.

Well there are a lot of advantages in buying expired domains specially with SEO and ranking. You should be careful with your purchase though - do some research prior to purchasing.
