Hello, I have a business idea and I had few questions... I live with my moms and pops in a house near a really busy two way street. The reason the street is busy is because there is a BIG casino about 5 mile away. The busy street is the ONLY street that leads to the casino and my house is sitting next to the street. I have a few tall trees standing 10 feet away from the street. The trees are in MY PROPERTY and I can do anything I want to them. I was thinking of hanging a really big 4x10 banner on the trees that says "Heading to the Casino?" and under it should say "visit ExampleCasino.com".

Now that I lead them to a website, WHAT SHOULD THE WEBSITE BE? Should it be like a free online gaming website? Should it be an ebook on how to beat the casino? Which method will grab the driver and go to the site? I was thinking of making it free online casino games with ads on the sides promoting my "Beat the casino eBook".

Also I can have another banner by the other trees that will say "Leaving the Casino?" for the crowed that is leaving...

I bet no one you'll talk to here has done this exact thing before, so the best thing to do is test different ideas. Get the domain name ready, track all traffic and send them to your casino aff link. Try that for a couple of weeks, then create a landing page with a free ebook if they sign up on your email list. Try that for a few weeks and see how many emails you get. Then try something else. Unless your neighbours copy what you're doing you'll have plenty of time to try different things. :)
 
You live with your mom and pops? Take advantage of that time and read this thread. It is full of methods to get you OUT of that house and into at least an apartment of your own.

I highly doubt that my neighbors will do this... the area that I am in are really well off rich people. My house is big and expensive and so are theirs! They wouldn't even know what to do with the website, they do not know anything about websites or making money online...

I am 17 years old and still go to high school. Even if i was ready to move I would not because I live in a really big comfortable house. I have a big room, and even an office room for my online work.

I would imagine you would need a planning permit for any type of "structure" like that visable from the exterior of your property.

That is what I was afraid of... BUT I live is the US and I have right to my property! Planning permit for a banner hanging on a tree? I will put it up until someone from the city tells me otherwise
 
I don't know if any online casino does affiliate payout per lead or impression, but create a simple site that lands to an index.php page that redirects them to an online casino address with your affiliate link. If people like to gamble, they might like to do it online as well. For each one you send over, or for each one that signs up, you get paid.

That's what I'd do, at least.

And John, the OP is allowed to put up signage on his property - like posting up a bandit sign on his tree trunk, unless he lives in a HOA (home owners association, with their bullshit rules and whatnot) area.
 
fbmike, I think you should open an online casino, and print flyers. These flyers will actulay be virtual $50 coupons for your casino. Give those flyers to the sheeps going down the street. Once they realize that they have $50 (or whatever the local curency is) in their hands they won't throw away that flyer easily.
Once they're home they will go online to play with that flyer, if they like your casino they will use real money to continue playing once those $50 are gone.

Isn't online gambling illegal in US or is it just poker?

Make a big QR code and redirect it to your lander.

Also put a big easy to remember domain name.

Use a Sexy Babe to catch their attention.

You could sell a $7 ebook on how to beat the casino and cover like 10 different methods that can be the light version, if they want the full version they can then upgrade their purchase with 99 different methods or something for $99!

This... All online gambling is illegal in the US

I know this as my background is in Betfair trading, and the opening up of the US market is something alot of full-time traders dream of.
Lots of new money getting thrown into the sports markets, providing more liquidity, and with it the opportunity to make bigger profits. Things like NBA & NFL are awesome trading fodder due to the nature of the games (lots of swings) but liquidity is not quite where it could be if the US market was opened up compared to things like Tennis & Football (Soccer)

Therefore I think your idea is a non-starter if you are in the USA :lock1:
 
I think you'd get a better response if posted in the offline section, since I'm sure someone does billboard or print advertising and would be able to give you some more help. Also some others have brought up a very good point, have you checked out the legality of this?

Even if you can't advertise Casinos maybe you can advertise something along the lines of gambling, like idk trading for example. What about binary options (if they're not also illegal), I've seen a lot of people promoting those with the old flog method.

Why limit yourself to one method? Try utilizing multiple methods, see what works and converts best for you, remember to think outside the box!
 
If it's free, why not give it a try dude? Seems like a good idea, just experiment with your wording and you should be set.
