I am stupid. Does this mean 7 people have ordered? If so why have I not got any commission? Do I need to wait for the items to be dispatched, if so how long could I be waiting.

You get money when the stuff is delivered. I mean, you don;t get the money at that point, you get it 2 months later

Because they say so! ...lol j/k.

They do it because they offer 30 days returns plus want to make sure customer will not chargeback and to avoid fraud.

Also, some items are not eligible for commissions.

Exactly as carlikito said! Part of their business is to make sure customers are happy with purchases and everything is a okay. You havent gotten your money yet because it will sit for a month waiting, making sure no one returns anything, then it will process, clear, etc.
